Captain Chuck Weis holds a U.S. Coastguard license. He has over 30 years of fishing and over 14 years of boating experience on Lake Michigan. In addition to chartering, Captain Chuck is a union carpenter.

About the Boat
The boat is a 25’ Sportcraft Walkaround. She is designed for a smooth, dry, comfortable ride on big water. She also is equipped with a canvas cockpit enclosure and cabin should the weather turn bad. The large fishing deck provides comfort for all anglers. The boat is equipped with a wash room, new color Lowrance electronics, marine radio, cellular phone and U.S.C.G. safety gear.
The 25-foot Sportcraft boat I use is the perfect size for up to 6 anglers to fish comfortable. The large deck area, private bathroom and a canvas cockpit enclosure make for a perfect day of fishing for jumbo perch on the Big Lake. This 25 foot Sportcraft is also small enough to conquer the tricky spots that perch like to dwell in for having a successful and fulfilling charter. This adventure is sure to hook you in for the world class perch fishery we have on southern Lake Michigan and make you want to come back for more! Charters leave from Marina and are 6 hours from dock to dock or until limit is caught, whichever comes first.
We supply all bait needed for trip, Fenwick HMX rods with Abu Garcia 702 series reels, 6# Stren line for a perfect perch setup or you may bring your own setup.
All lost tackle will be charged at cost.
Fish cleaning available for additional cost.
$100 deposit is required to reserve your date.
Two weeks notice required for cancellation or reschedule.
Trips cancelled by the Captain will be fully refunded or rescheduled. Captain will make decisions on inclement weather.
